He and I both woke up yesterday morning with stuffy noses. Mine, of course, I can take meds for and *poof* it's gone. But his? Awww... my poor baby boy. But.....he slept really good for my mom in the morning, from 8:30 till 11:30! Of course, he was UP at 6! She actually only had to "watch" him for an hour. :) I'm sure him sleeping that much was him fighting the stuffy nose thing. If I have to take him back to the peds office this week, I'll be so irritated. Not mad, but irritated. It seems like if it's not one thing with me or him, it's another.
Here's our run down:
November: he had an ear infection, sinus infection and upper respiratory infection
December: I had a sinus infection and an ear infection at the same time of course
January: I had a pulled trapezious muscle and a corneal abrasion.
February: UTI/start of a kidney infection, then from a combination of the meds from the corneal abrasion and the UTI- I ended up with THRUSH in my mouth! Then Thursday, I took Parker to the peds because I thought he had an ear infection, turns out, babies can have the same symptoms of an ear infection and it's actually just drainage from teething!! Ugh.
Parker's been having issues at night. He's been waking up 3-5 times a night, just wanting to be rocked back to sleep. Of course, Kent does it. LOL I told him that Parker's playing us- but "You don't know what you're talking about". I started reading the "No Cry Sleep Solution" book- I can only read about 15 pages at a time- all that talk about sleep makes me want to crash. Everything in that book makes sense! Babies make noises in their sleep- sometimes us mom's mistake those noises for "waking" sounds- when in fact, they aren't. Even cries in the middle of the night aren't always them waking. I've told DH that when I'm done with the book, he needs to read it too so we can both be on the same page... I doubt he will.
OMG. Last time I pumped was at 10:30 last night- I got up fr my usual 3 AM session and I got 5 oz EACH BOOB! Stef, did you read that? 5 FROM EACH!!!!! Normally, I'd get 2.5 or so. Amazing!!! :)
