Feeling guilty!
So, I'm coming up on a year of EPing (mooing- as it's commonly referred to). I'm honestly feeling a little guilty about stopping pumping! I know that Ive done really well when it comes to supplying for Parker! I'm seriously over pumping- but the GUILT! I don't know why I'm feeling guilty... I just am. I know that everyone at work is READY for me to be DONE with pumping (I literally have to have everyone else schedule their lunches around my pumping schedule). It will be GREAT to be able to take a normal lunch!!

Visiting Grandma W.
Parker really enjoyed celebrating St. Patrick's Day with his Daddys family. He even got in the spirit with some Guinness! LOL ***he really didn't drink any, just loved "chewing" on the bottle***
He's such a smiley laughy baby..... cracks me up. :)

Last weekend Parker went to go visit his Grandma W. :) It's only the 2nd time he's seen her since he was born. Needless to say, he didn't have a shortage of kisses or cuddles from her!
Parker was finding all sorts of stuff to chew on..... like this, pic of him chewing on some fake corn! LOL

He was crawling up on everything and even showed off his walking skills!

Cough cough cough cough
Parker has an upper respiratory infection and a bronchial infection. He's on an anti-biotic, a steroid and a nebulizer. I'm so over Parker being sick. I'm so over Kent being sick. I'm so over ME being sick. :( UGHHHHH.

Clean house!
Since Parker and I have both been fighting a cold (he's been teething on top of the cold too). Kent and I decided to clean the entire house. Mopped floors, cleaned counters, dusted, vac'ed (well, ROOMBA'ed the house) LOL Hopefully all the antibacterial cleaners and stuff will work.
He's got 2 top teeth coming in now, not just one!! Kent and I saw them when we were at Lowe's (of all places). I had just cleaned off the cart with a wipe when he mouthed the bar! I decided it was a prime opportunity to look in his mouth. Low and behold 2 top teeth just pushing through, one is a little further through than the other but still...... TWO TEETH!!! YAY! He's been sleeping like crazy lately- I'm attributing that to the teething too. At daycare, he normally takes two 1.5-2 hour naps.... yea.... Friday, he took one 2 hour and one 3 hour nap. Then came home and slept almost through the night (got up once at 2:30 to eat). Whew. We're getting there!! Not fully following the no cry sleep solution, but taking bits and pieces that I think will help Parker sleep more soundly at night.... so far so good. :)
Anyway- done pumping, time for more laundry! TTFN!

Not just your average stuffy nose
Ok, so Kent let me sleep in till 8 this morning. Thanks babe!
Parker just doesn't have a stuffy nose......... he has a top tooth!! He's drooling like a mad man and cranky beyond cranky.

Poor guy......
He and I both woke up yesterday morning with stuffy noses. Mine, of course, I can take meds for and *poof* it's gone. But his? Awww... my poor baby boy. But.....he slept really good for my mom in the morning, from 8:30 till 11:30! Of course, he was UP at 6! She actually only had to "watch" him for an hour. :) I'm sure him sleeping that much was him fighting the stuffy nose thing. If I have to take him back to the peds office this week, I'll be so irritated. Not mad, but irritated. It seems like if it's not one thing with me or him, it's another.
Here's our run down:
November: he had an ear infection, sinus infection and upper respiratory infection
December: I had a sinus infection and an ear infection at the same time of course
January: I had a pulled trapezious muscle and a corneal abrasion.
February: UTI/start of a kidney infection, then from a combination of the meds from the corneal abrasion and the UTI- I ended up with THRUSH in my mouth! Then Thursday, I took Parker to the peds because I thought he had an ear infection, turns out, babies can have the same symptoms of an ear infection and it's actually just drainage from teething!! Ugh.
Parker's been having issues at night. He's been waking up 3-5 times a night, just wanting to be rocked back to sleep. Of course, Kent does it. LOL I told him that Parker's playing us- but "You don't know what you're talking about". I started reading the "No Cry Sleep Solution" book- I can only read about 15 pages at a time- all that talk about sleep makes me want to crash. Everything in that book makes sense! Babies make noises in their sleep- sometimes us mom's mistake those noises for "waking" sounds- when in fact, they aren't. Even cries in the middle of the night aren't always them waking. I've told DH that when I'm done with the book, he needs to read it too so we can both be on the same page... I doubt he will.
OMG. Last time I pumped was at 10:30 last night- I got up fr my usual 3 AM session and I got 5 oz EACH BOOB! Stef, did you read that? 5 FROM EACH!!!!! Normally, I'd get 2.5 or so. Amazing!!! :)
